The Hygiene Team Member will ensure that hygiene and housekeeping standards are maintained at a high level across the site. Responsibilities include cleaning facilities, equipment, and infrastructure to the highest standards in accordance with ABSS requirements. The role emphasizes safety for yourself and colleagues, aligning with the 'Safety First' vision and mission.
The working pattern involves rotational days and nights: 2 weeks days, then 2 weeks nights, with 3 days in week 1 and 4 days in week 2. Shifts are 12 hours, from 6 to 6, with paid breaks.

Key Accountabilities
* Adhere to daily schedules and meet required standards in assigned areas
* Assist in achieving department KPIs as part of a team
* Follow instructions, training, and guidelines from the hygiene department
* Coordinate with Hygiene Controller/Coordinator to validate completed cleaning tasks
* Identify and address potential food safety risks
* Report hazards or defects to Hygiene Controller/Coordinator
* Manage deliveries of workwear from the Laundry
* Assist in waste reduction and removal of bakery and returns waste
* Clean and litter pick site perimeter, facilities, canteen, and surrounding areas
* Operate floor cleaning machinery

* Collaborate with pest control technicians to minimize pest activity
