SLD Key Stage 4 Teacher – Full-Time SLD Key Stage 4 Teacher (Full-Time, Long-Term Supply) – Mary Elliot Academy, Walsall £150–£170 per day Start Date: 12/04/2026 The School and Role Mary Elliot Academy is a well-resourced SEND school, providing education for learners with severe and complex learning difficulties. We are seeking a full-time Key Stage 4 SLD Teacher to lead a mixed-ability class of 13 learners, with higher-ability students accessing Functional Skills. You will plan and deliver lessons with PPA and planning support provided. Requirements The ideal candidate will have: QTS/PGCE with experience supporting SLD or complex needs learners Ability to create engaging, personalised lessons Strong classroom management and teamwork skills A passion for promoting learner independence and wellbeing What we offer As a Teaching Assistant, part of our team, you benefit from: Excellent daily rates paid using the PAYE system.
