Reactive Maintenance & PPM Electrician (EICR & Testing) Location: Chelmsford Valoris Group Limited is partnering with a growing business to recruit an experienced Reactive Maintenance & PPM Electrician with a strong background in EICRs, testing, inspection, and fault finding. This opportunity would suit an electrical professional with solid experience in commercial environments, covering both reactive works and planned preventative maintenance. The Role As part of this position, you will be responsible for delivering a high standard of electrical maintenance and compliance work across commercial sites. The role requires a hands-on electrician who is confident in both planned and reactive environments and can work efficiently while maintaining safety and quality standards. You will need proven experience in: Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) Inspection and testing Reactive maintenance and emergency fault finding Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of current regulations and be confident in ensuring electrical systems remain safe, compliant, and fully operational. Key Duties Carry out electrical testing and inspection works, including producing EICR reports on commercial systems Diagnose faults and complete repair works in response to reactive maintenance issues Undertake planned preventative maintenance to reduce breakdowns and maintain performance Ensure all work is completed in line with current electrical regulations and health and safety standards Provide clear feedback and practical recommendations on system condition and maintenance requirements Experience and Qualifications Required Proven experience in EICRs, testing, reactive maintenance, and PPM works Strong understanding of current electrical standards, regulations, and codes of practice within commercial environments 2391 qualification preferred, or willingness to work towards it Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel where required Why Join Through Valoris Group Limited?
