Carbon60 is seeking a talented Fuel Systems Engineer R&T to join their client based in Filton. As a Fuel Systems Engineer R&T, you will play a crucial role in the development of a new item of equipment for the company's next-generation aircraft.
This is a contract role which will run until the end of July 2026.
Key Responsibilities of the Fuel Systems Engineer R&T:
- Evaluate equipment supplier technology proposals and select a suitable supplier for future collaboration.
- Initiate and progress the process to set up collaboration with the selected supplier.
- Author technical deliverable and analyses as part of the progression of the project from TRL3 to TRL4.
- Prepare a review pack for a status review with key internal stakeholders, including a multi-year plan to reach TRL6.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills to engage with system specialists, R&T programme team, and Airbus system suppliers.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Proven experience within the Aviation/Aerospace industry.
- Ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders within the business.
- Desirable: Avionic Fuel Systems experience and Project management experience.
