We are seeking an enthusiastic and industry-experienced Engineering Teacher (Electrical Bias) to join our dynamic and forward-thinking team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a high-performing department, delivering engaging and practical learning experiences that prepare students for real-world engineering careers.

About the Role

You will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching and learning across engineering programmes, with a primary focus on electrical principles and applications. You will inspire and support learners to achieve their full potential, combining theoretical knowledge with hands-on, industry-relevant skills.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for a motivated and knowledgeable professional who brings both passion and practical experience to the classroom. The ideal candidate will have:

* A strong background in electrical engineering, including experience with installation, maintenance, fault-finding and testing of electrical systems
* A solid mechanical engineering understanding, such as working with mechanical systems, maintenance practices, and interpreting technical drawings
* Proven industry experience in an engineering environment, for example within advanced manufacturing, production, maintenance engineering, building services, or industrial settings
* Experience working with key equipment and systems such as motors, control panels, PLCs, wiring systems, and health & safety procedures
* An understanding of industry standards and regulations (e.g. electrical safety, compliance, risk assessments)
* The ability to translate real-world engineering practices into engaging learning experiences

If you are passionate about engineering and eager to share your knowledge to develop the next generation of skilled professionals, we would love to hear from you.
