About Us
Uniq Recycling Ltd is a fast-growing IT Asset Disposal (ITAD) and technology recycling company based in the Midlands. We help businesses, schools, and organisations responsibly manage their end-of-life IT equipment — providing secure data destruction, sustainable recycling solutions, and maximising value through IT asset buyback services.
We are now looking for an ambitious and driven Business Development Manager to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about technology, sustainability, and building strong client relationships to help us expand our reach across the UK.
The Role
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving company growth by:
* Identifying and developing new business opportunities within the ITAD, education, and corporate sectors.
* Building strong relationships with decision-makers, including IT managers, procurement teams, and sustainability leads.
* Managing the full sales cycle — from prospecting and pitching through to negotiation and closing deals.
* Working closely with the operations team to deliver seamless solutions for clients.
* Keeping up to date with industry trends, compliance requirements, and market changes.
Key Responsibilities
* Generate and convert new leads through outbound outreach, networking, and attending industry events.
* Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline and consistently achieve revenue targets.
* Work with the sourcing team to create targeted campaigns and identify growth opportunities.
* Present Uniq Recycling's IT buyback and recycling services to potential clients, demonstrating value and ROI.
* Accurately manage CRM data
* Report on sales activity and performance for the whole team
About You

* Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
* A proactive, self-motivated, and target-driven approach.
* Knowledge of IT equipment, asset disposal, and secure data destruction is a bonus — but not essential.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel when required.
* Experience of managing or leading a sales team preferential
What We Offer
* Uncapped commission structure.
* Opportunity to shape your role and grow within a rapidly expanding business.
* Training and professional development opportunities.
* A supportive and collaborative team environment.
* Contribution to sustainability and circular economy initiatives.
