Are you a qualified or newly qualified nurse looking to take a new step in your nursing career? Staff Nurses work as part of a team providing high quality and compassionate care to individuals. The Staff Nurse is an autonomous practitioner responsible for the holistic assessment of both complex and simple care needs, the development, implementation and evaluation of care, and delegation of care where appropriate to other team members. They will support the multidisciplinary team in delivering high-quality care to enable individuals to achieve their person-centred goals.
We value our RGNs highly, so development and training within this role will be offered and prioritised. Hours are worked flexibly over a rota, including evenings and weekends. We have full-time and part-time hours available. You will need good communication skills, a teamwork approach, and the ability to provide high standards of nursing care with team support.

The role involves providing and maintaining high standards of evidence-based, patient-centred care, demonstrating good interpersonal skills, and developing practical skills within the specialty, reflecting the philosophy of care. You will deliver patient care daily using departmental systems for a multidisciplinary, patient-centred approach, involving patients and their relatives/carers, aligned with the Trust's patient and public involvement strategy.
Experienced Band 5 post holders will also provide effective clinical and managerial leadership in the absence of senior team members, empowering staff to deliver patient-centred, evidence-based nursing care.
