I'm currently working with a well-established and growing Planning and Development consultancy that is looking to appoint a Planning Director to lead and expand their London office.
This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced planning professional who is motivated by growth, enjoys winning work, and wants the autonomy to shape a London practice within a supportive and ambitious practice.
The Role
My client is seeking someone to take full responsibility for the success and expansion of their London office. You will be trusted to originate and secure new instructions, strengthen key client relationships, and build a high-performing planning team that supports long-term growth.
You'll work closely with the wider leadership team while having the freedom to set the strategic direction for London, backed by an established brand, strong pipeline, and national expertise.
Key Responsibilities
·Lead, grow, and develop the London planning office
·Originate and secure new planning instructions across a range of development sectors
·Build and maintain strong senior-level client and stakeholder relationships
·Provide strategic planning advice on complex and high-profile projects
·Contribute to the wider leadership and growth strategy of the consultancy
About You
·Currently operating at Director or Associate Director level, and ready to step up
·Proven track record of work-winning and client development
·Strong knowledge of the UK planning system
