Fixed Term or Secondment Opportunity (12 months)
We require an organised individual with excellent medical secretarial and administrative skills to work in an extremely busy but rewarding team. The post will be based between the Forensic Community Mental Health Service and the Adult Mental Health in-patient unit, Bellsdyke Hospital.
Qualifications and Skills
* Experience in a similar post within a healthcare setting
* Fast accurate audio typing
* Proficient IT skills
* Knowledge of medical terminology
* HNC or equivalent qualification
* Excellent communication skills
* Flexible approach to the challenges of the role
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will perform medical secretarial and administrative duties in support of a busy team, ensuring accurate documentation and efficient workflow between the Forensic Community Mental Health Service and the Adult Mental Health inpatient unit. The duties include, but are not limited to, typing, data entry, patient file management and scheduling. The candidate must also complete a Level 2 Disclosure Scotland check.
