We are looking for a motivated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a friendly mainstream primary school in Leyland from September 2026. This temp-to-perm opportunity is ideal for someone committed to early years education and looking for long-term progression.
In this EYFS Teaching Assistant role, you will support children’s early learning experiences and work alongside experienced staff to provide a high standard of education and care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with planning and delivering engaging EYFS lessons
* Support children’s early development and learning milestones
* Provide one-to-one and group support where required
* Ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment
* Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
Requirements:
* Level 2 or Level 3 EYFS qualification (essential)
* Previous EYFS or primary school experience
* Enthusiastic, patient, and adaptable approach
* Strong teamwork and communication skills
* Paediatric First Aid (desirable)
