Are you a Psychology or Criminology graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in a school setting? We are recruiting graduates to support pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in a specialist school in Gateshead.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Supporting students on a 1:1 and small group basis
* Helping pupils manage emotions and behaviour in a structured environment
* Using de-escalation techniques and positive behaviour strategies
* Building strong, trusting relationships with students
* Supporting lessons designed to re-engage pupils with education
* Working alongside teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
