Dental Therapist - Oral Health Directorate role at NHS Scotland. The Oral Health Directorate is offering an exciting opportunity for a Dental Therapist to join the Paediatric Dentistry team at Glasgow Dental Hospital & School and Royal Hospital for Children. The position is based in Glasgow with a Monday to Friday shift pattern.
Responsibilities
* Support the provision of high quality dental care for children and young people.
* Provide a wide range of clinical dental therapy and preventative oral health care, including extended duties appropriate to a registered dental therapist.
* Support the department’s specialist services, including cleft multidisciplinary care at Royal Hospital for Children.
Qualifications
* Recognised qualification in Dental Hygiene Therapy.
* GDC registrant with knowledge of the GDC Scope of Practice for Dental Therapists and familiarity with the GDC Standards for the Dental Team.
* Inhalation sedation qualification is desirable but not essential.
