This newly formed Finance role is key to managing cash which will assist us in fulfilling our targets.
About the Role
We're looking for an ambitious part-qualified accountant to join our finance team servicing multiple companies. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is progressing through their ACCA or CIMA qualification and wants hands-on experience, real responsibility including management of the existing Finance Assistant, and a clear path to becoming fully qualified.
You'll work closely with senior finance colleagues, gaining exposure across management accounts, financial reporting, budgeting, and process improvement. The role for the right candidate includes clear progression to Finance Director in the future.
Key Responsibilities
· Close daily management of Cash Flows
· Assist with month-end and year-end processes
· Prepare journals, accruals, and prepayments
· Support production of management accounts and financial reports
· Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variances
· Assist with budgeting and forecasting cycles
· Maintain accurate financial records and support audit requirements
· Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to support business decisions
About You
· Part-qualified ACCA or CIMA (or equivalent)
· Strong Excel skills and comfortable working with financial data
· Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
· Confident communicator who can work with stakeholders across the business
· Proactive, eager to learn, and committed to completing your qualification
· 2+yrs Experience in a similar finance role
