About the Role:
Seeking compassionate individuals for our part-time Community Home Helper positions. Support elderly individuals in their homes, providing companionship and helping them maintain independence with respect. Unfortunately, we are unable to support sponsorship requests.
Responsibilities:
* Offer companionship and engaging conversation.
* Assist with daily tasks like meal prep, light housekeeping, and errands.
* Help with personal care such as helping a client start or finish their day, continue daily routines and activities.
* Support with exercises and physical activities.
* Remind clients about medication; assist with mobility.
* Accompany clients to appointments and social events; provide transport if needed.
Person Specification:
* A compassionate, patient nature.
* Good communication skills.
* Reliable individuals committed to making a positive impact.
* No experience needed; full training provided.
* Driving licence and vehicle access will be needed due to our rural clients and the nature of the role.
