A thriving Ofsted-rated ‘GOOD’ Secondary school in Rawtenstall is seeking a committed Teacher of History to join their Humanities department from Monday 1st June. This is an excellent long-term assignment, with the role expected to continue until December 2026, offering stability and the chance to make a meaningful impact.
The Role:
* Deliver engaging and well-structured History lessons across KS3 and KS4
* Inspire students to develop a love of History and achieve their best
* Plan, prepare, and assess in line with curriculum requirements
* Contribute to a collaborative and high-performing Humanities faculty
* Support the wider school community and uphold high standards of behaviour and learning

* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching
