The Role
You’ll take ownership of a warehouse shift operation, driving performance, safety and engagement across your team. This is a busy, target-driven environment where attention to process, people development, and service delivery are key.
Depending on the shift, your focus may be on:
Leading a larger, established team
Managing a smaller team delivering against tight customer SLAs and demanding KPIs. Either way, you’ll be the kind of manager who’s out on the floor, coaching, supporting, and improving, not just directing from the office.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, motivate and develop your team to achieve daily operational targets.
Drive performance through clear communication, training, and coaching.
Manage workflow, labour planning, and resource allocation across the shift.
Ensure compliance with health & safety and operational standards.
Implement and improve processes to boost efficiency and accuracy.
Build strong working relationships with internal teams and external customers. About You
Proven experience in warehouse shift management.
Confident managing to KPIs, targets, and customer expectations.
A hands-on leader who leads by example, motivates teams, and develops people.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Process-driven with a continuous improvement mindset.
