Partnering closely with the Clinical Development Lead, you will drive both short-term and long-term strategies for our high-profile assets. Your Responsibilities
In this dynamic role, your responsibilities will include:
* Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with the clinical development lead to evaluate program viability, integrating scientific, regulatory, and commercial insights.
* Execution Excellence: Drive the execution of plans, track project progress, and ensure timely, budget-conscious deliverables. Be the go-to person for navigating urgent situations!
* Cross-Functional Leadership: Manage and lead cross-functional meetings, ensuring effective communication and documentation of key decisions and discussions.
* Advisory Board Facilitation: Oversee the completion of scientific and medical advisory boards to develop robust Go/No-Go criteria and evaluate proof-of-concept data.
* Data Analysis: Review and analyze data objectively, collaborating with your team to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Interact professionally with external stakeholders to support our clinical development plan and scientific communication strategies.
What We’re Looking For
We seek passionate professionals with the following qualifications:
* Education: Bachelor’s Degree with at least five years of industry experience in a relevant scientific field; an advanced degree (Masters or PhD) is highly preferred.
* Experience: Relevant experience in a pharmaceutical or biotech setting, particularly in translational or clinical development. Experience with rare diseases or biologics is a plus!
* Strategic Thinker: Proven ability to manage complex projects and think strategically. You should excel in influencing, communicating, and problem-solving in a collaborative, matrixed environment.
* Adaptability: A team player who can work independently, demonstrate sound judgment, and hold yourself and others accountable for meeting timelines.
* Communication Skills: Exceptional written and oral presentation skills are a must!
Working Conditions
This is a 0.5 FTE role based in Boston, with the flexibility to consider remote candidates. Occasional travel within the U.S. (estimated 1-3 trips) may be required.
