Job description Are you an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor with experience in a high rise residential area? We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our client, as it is one of the UKs largest privately owned real estate investment and development companies. This role offers the chance to take ownership of significant projects, alongside a competitive salary. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of cost and commercial matters on a range of high rise new builds. From the initial stages through to project completion, you will ensure projects are delivered on budget, on time, and to the highest standards of quality. Your key responsibilities as a Senior Quantity Surveyor are… - Cost planning, tendering, procurement, and contract administration - Oversee the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and reports - Collaborate with the project team to provide commercial advice and identify cost-saving opportunities - Administer contracts, including assessing variations, managing claims, and resolving disputes - Liaise and maintain relationships clients & key stakeholders Previous experience - Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor, - Strong knowledge of JCT and NEC forms of contract - Excellent commercial acumen and cost management skills - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously - A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field (RICS accreditation is advantageous) - Strong communication and leadership abilities What’s in it for you? - A competitive salary of £80,000 per annum schedule: * Monday to Friday Education: * Bachelor's (preferred) Experience: * surveying: 10 years (required) Licence/Certification: * Driving Licence (preferred) Work Location: In person If this role is of interest to you then please apply with your CV or call Chloe on (phone number removed) / (phone number removed) for a confidential chat
