This is an interesting and varied role, which would suit a confident, self-motivated person who enjoys meeting people and can use their initiative to identify and capitalise on opportunities for development. We are a small team who support people who live independently in their own homes, in a shared environment or in their own flats. This role requires working across multiple services within the Bristol and South Gloucestershire area, including Fishponds, Downend, Southville and other locations in our outreach services. Shift patterns vary and are flexible around what the individuals would like support with each week. Support hours include some evenings and weekends and lone working will also be a requirement of the role, so being self-motivated and able to use your initiative is crucial. As Support Worker, your responsibilities will include: Supporting people to manage a tenancy Develop strategies and resilience to manage their own mental health Developing independent living skills Budgeting Support to manage relationships and much, much more.
