This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate lawyer to work with a market-leading public sector team on matters that truly make a difference.
The Role
As a Public Sector Associate Solicitor, you will:
· Advise local government, education, and healthcare clients on a wide variety of legal matters.
· Be involved in major public sector projects across sectors such as health, housing, regeneration, transport, and education.
· Handle complex commercial contracts, procurement issues, subsidy control, grant funding and governance matters.
· Collaborate with a national team of over 60 specialist public sector lawyers.
· Enjoy the chance to work with clients across the country, from Cornwall to Northumberland.
About You
We're looking to speak with candidates who have:
· 1-3 years PQE, with relevant experience in commercial law, public procurement, grant funding, subsidy control or public sector legal work.
· In-house or private practice experience advising public sector bodies.
· Strong communication skills and a real interest in delivering positive outcomes for public sector clients.
· A proactive, collaborative, and client-focused approach.
