Job description
If you are looking for a rewarding new role within healthcare, you are in the right place!
Working in healthcare can be incredibly fulfilling as it allows you to make a positive impact on people's lives every day.
We are looking for experienced and committed Healthcare Assistants with an interactive approach, who are eager to enhance their skills in the complex care sector. While prior complex care experience is beneficial, it is not a requirement as full bespoke clinical training will be provided.
You will need to be passionate about delivering the highest quality care to our service users, building positive relationships with them and their family whilst empowering them to live as independently as possible within the comfort of their own home.
Meet our Service user
Our service user is a gentleman in his 70’s who lives at home with his wife and children in Rochdale. He requires support with his complex care needs throughout the night on a 1:1 basis.
He is a big fan of Rugby; he enjoys watching this on the TV and at times will go and support his local team when he can. He chooses to relax by watching his favourite TV programmes such as The Chase and Tipping Point, as well as sports and movies. He enjoys reading the newspaper, playing cards, dominoes and enjoys the interaction with his family and care team.
Throughout the night you will provide support with his personal care, repositioning, making clinical observations and attending to his clinical care needs when required. You will provide support and reassurance when needed to promote a restful night’s sleep.
