GSL Education Lincolnshire is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming secondary school in Bourne. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young people in their academic and personal development.
Responsibilities:
1. Support classroom learning, working closely with teachers to enhance student engagement.
2. Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who may need additional help.
3. Assist in preparing learning materials and classroom activities.
4. Encourage a positive learning environment, ensuring all students feel supported.
5. Help manage classroom behaviour and offer pastoral care when required.
Requirements:
1. Previous experience in a classroom or educational setting is advantageous.
2. Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
3. Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to pay for one through GSL Education Lincolnshire.
