Your new role
We're excited to say our Commercial Services team is continuing to grow as we strengthen our commitment to delivering safe, compliant homes for all our customers – and we need you
As our Head of Landlord Safety, you'll lead, manage and be responsible for our full range of Landlord Health & Safety (LLH&S) obligations across our homes, including Gas Servicing, Legionella, Asbestos, Electrical Safety, Lifting Equipment, Fire Safety and Radon Gas.
With your proactive, innovative and future focused approach, you'll make sure our compliance performance not only meets our statutory duties but continually improves. You'll look for opportunities to strengthen our data quality, modernise our processes, remove manual tasks and drive sector leading transparency and assurance. Remember, we don't want to do things the way they've always been done…we want to do things better.
Working collaboratively with stakeholders across the business, you'll make sure our policies, processes and reporting frameworks are robust, fit for purpose and consistently applied across all our properties and regions. You'll ensure we always have accurate compliance data available for internal stakeholders and the regulator, giving confidence in the safety of our homes and the services we deliver.
In this role, you'll also be a key player during any new mergers or partnerships, leading our LLH&S due diligence and supporting the integration of new organisations into Abri's ways of working. You'll act as a trusted ambassador for customer safety, accelerating positive change and championing our customer obsessed approach.
You'll manage and support colleagues across multiple teams and locations, motivating others and inspiring a culture of high performance, accountability and continuous improvement.
If you want to use your expertise to make a real and lasting impact on customer safety and be part of a team that truly values your contribution, we'd love to hear from you
This role can be based out of Yeovil (BA22 8WN), Eastleigh (SO50 6AD) or Bracknell (RG12 1RF). You should live within Abri's geography and be able to commute to all of our offices as required.
Who we are
Abri is a large housing provider who own and manage over 58,000 homes and various community assets, serving around 113,000 customers across the South of England.
We believe everyone has the right to a good quality safe, warm and sustainable home in a community where they can belong, grow and thrive. What does that look like in real terms?
We're investing £689m over the next ten years in our existing homes to improve building safety and make them more energy efficient.
We're delivering 10,000 homes by 2030, ensuring affordable housing is built where it's needed most
We're investing in our communities, to address local issues and create opportunities for everyone
As we grow, we're reestablishing our strong local presence to provide a really good service. Abri has adopted a regional approach to service delivery, with our operating areas split into three, each with their local governance and leadership. This will ensure our colleagues are more visible, accountable and better connected to our customers and local communities to meet their diverse needs.
