Bookings And Events Administrator
Location: Stoke Mandeville Stadium, Aylesbury, HP20 1DX
Salary: £ 13,552 per annum plus excellent benefits
Schedule: Part-time, Monday to Friday, 10:00 - 14:00, with flexibility required to support events
As a Bookings and Events Administrator, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running and maximum use of sports and leisure facilities, helping create positive experiences for individuals, clubs, and community groups.
From managing bookings to coordinating events, your work will support participation, wellbeing, and community engagement. You'll help create a welcoming environment where activities run seamlessly and people can come together - delivering a positive impact on local communities.
What you'll do as a Bookings and Events Administrator
* Manage bookings for sports facilities, studios, meeting rooms, and event spaces, ensuring systems are accurate and up to date
* Handle enquiries via phone, email, and in person, converting these into confirmed bookings
* Plan and coordinate events such as tournaments, classes, community activities, and private hire functions
* Act as a key point of contact for customers and event organisers, ensuring events run smoothly and resolving issues when needed
* Maintain accurate financial and administrative records, including payments, invoices, and reports
* Support marketing and promotion activities to increase bookings, participation, and revenue
* Ensure all activities comply with health and safety requirements and operational procedures
Does this sound like you?
* Experience in administration, bookings, or event coordination
* Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
* Confidence using IT systems, including booking platforms and Microsoft Office
* A proactive, flexible approach with strong attention to detail
* Experience in a sports, leisure, or hospitality environment would be beneficial
