Maintenance Operative Location: Bristol / Gloucester Hours of work: 40 Contract Type: Permanent We’re seeking a proactive and multi-skilled Maintenance Operative to join our team in a permanent role, covering just two corporate office sites located in Bristol and Gloucester. With a strong bias towards fabric maintenance and general building repairs, this position offers the chance to work in a stable, well-supported environment where your efforts will have a direct impact. Key Responsibilities * Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in line with schedules, including statutory tasks * Complete general reactive and lifecycle maintenance tasks across the site * Undertake fabric maintenance including painting, patch repairs, fixing holes in walls, and basic joinery * Conduct minor plumbing works such as basic toilet repairs and drainage maintenance * Perform small-scale external works including paving repairs and reinstatement * Carry out water hygiene tasks such as flushing and temperature readings * Work independently or within a team to complete tasks safely and efficiently Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications * Experience working in FM or building services within a corporate office or similar environment preferred * Previous experience in a Fabric Technician, Handyperson, or Caretaker role * Full UK Driving Licence required UK The Company ISS is a world-leading workplace and facility management company, connecting people and places to make the world work better.
