Our client is one of the UK's leading fresh produce companies, providing high quality fresh produce nationwide.
We are looking for a Class 1 Yard Shunter to join our busy and expanding team.
Key responsibilities will include:
· Carry out shunting duties including relevant maintenance and safety checks.
· Liaise with the warehouse control and goods in staff to ensure smooth and efficient loading/unloading of trailers.
· To observe and adhere to site procedures at all times.
The candidate:
· Ability to work without direct supervision.
· Conscientious and reliable.
· Flexible attitude.
· Must have current driver qualification card.
Shift Pattern:
* Week 1: Sunday to Thursday
* Week 2: Monday to Friday
Hours:
* Sunday: 08:00 – 16:00/18:00
* Monday to Friday: 11:00 – 18:00/20:00 (with some flexibility required)
Salary:
· Monday to Friday - £160 per shift
· Sunday - £175 per shift
Annual Leave:
* 20 days + Bank Holidays
* Bank Holidays are considered standard working days, including the period between Christmas and New Year.
