Role: OS Imaging Engineer (SC clearance)
Location: Gloucester Business Park, UK, Remote
Contract (Inside IR35)
Job Purpose and primary objectives:
Imaging of new WIN-10 version/feature release by Microsoft
Leading Windows 10 roll out via WaaS principles.
Responsible for the quality of all technical deliverables produced by the team.
Provide technical support as requested, for internal and external customers.
Documentation and remediation of Win-10 OS features
Create and edit Task Sequences as is necessary.
Remediate group policies and OS features.
Implementation of OS Build/Task Sequences and it's testing and remediation ensuring success of future patch upgrades
When migrating from earlier versions of Windows, an easy in-place upgrade process can be used to automatically preserve all apps, settings, and data.
Managing regular/frequent Quality Updates released by Microsoft.
Auto enrolment configuration of Windows 10 devices
Domain Management
Extensive experience of working in an end user computing team
SCCM Packaging and Deployment
Windows Compliance Policies
Administer and Configure applications for enterprise users.
Implementation of MDT with SCCM
In-depth knowledge and experience in enterprise class MDT and SCCM management
Good understanding and working experience in Agile Way of Working (DevOps Based Model

Key Skills/Knowledge/Responsibility:
Extensive OS Imaging experience of new WIN-10 version/feature release by Microsoft
Experience in managing the WaaS model (end to end)
Key Knowledge of Windows 10 roll out via WaaS principles.
Comfortable remaining "hands-on" to support the testing process.
Experience in dealing with multiple projects and cross-functional teams and a proven track record of coordinating across teams in a large organizational environment.
Experience in Executing test scripts and reviewing results.
Experience in Analysing test results on database impacts, errors or bugs, and usability
Previous knowledge of project management and overall development life cycle
Previous experience of managing both test initiatives/individuals and team
Experience in Agile and Scrum development methodology
Excellent communication skills
Highly experience in OS Imaging of new WIN-10 version/feature release by Microsoft
Experience in managing the WaaS model (end to end)
Experience in IPU
Application and Windows patch management.
Install and configure software products.
Compatibility testing, Remediation and Packaging for Windows 10
Create and maintain GPOs for Windows 10
Security Clearance (SC) Mandatory
Should have implemented WaaS (Win-10), Proficient in Configuration Manager, SCCM 2012, 2016 R2, MS MDT.
WaaS knowledge which includes knowledge of OS upgrades and overall patching via SCCM.
Health monitoring and reporting knowledge.
Experience required: Must Have:
