Senior Project Manager, People Team, Cambridge/ London
Responsibilities
1. Ensure all projects are delivered on time, to scope, within budget and to the required standard
2. Oversee the entire project lifecycle from initiation through to closure; manage project gating
3. Source and manage internal and external resouces to deliver project
4. Agree the definition of the project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders
5. Ensure project team is assembled based on resource availability and skills required
6. Establish and facilitate project governance
7. Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress, using agreed tools
8. Ensure project deliverables are assigned based on team members skillsets, strengths and experience
9. Plan and manage transition of the finished project products into BAU; ensure appropriate change management
10. Facilitate quality assurance, including regulatory, statutory and corporate compliance
11. Manage and influence stakeholders to ensure project objectives are achieved
12. Manage changes to scope, project schedule and project costs
13. Ensure project risks and issues are effectively identified and managed; perform proactive contingency planning
14. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation in line with the required process and standard
15. Communicate and report in a timely manner; escalate as appropriate
16. Analyse successful completion of goals and projects to establish best practice; orchestrate project review and document lessons learnt
Skills & Qualificiations
17. Strong leadership and influencing skills
18. Experience of project management
19. Excellent resource planning and scheduling skills
20. HR professional with global experience preferred
21. Previous experience with M&A would be an advantage
22. Able to develop and track budget
23. Excellent communication and collaboration skills
24. Organisational skills including attention to detail and multitasking; working to deadlines
25. Strong problem-solving skills – planning for success and can-do attitude
26. Flexibility to work in a global team
27. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, collaboration tools and video-conferencing platforms, particularly MS Teams
28. Working knowledge of data protection regulations like GDPR.
