Job Role: Electrical Supervisor
Location: HMP Whitemoor, Longhill Rd, March PE15 0PR
Salary: £46,775.42 per annum +5% recognition for weekend work
Contract: Permanent, full time – 39 hours per week, Monday to Sunday
We are seeking an NVQ Level 3 qualified Electrician with experience leading teams. Our facilities maintenance team operates like a self‑contained city, working Monday to Sunday as a supportive and driven family. The role involves coordinating with plumbers, carpenters, painters, cleaners and administrators to maintain a safe and nurturing environment for prisoners, staff and visitors.
As an Electrical Supervisor you will work alongside experienced colleagues across a range of trades. You will ensure all electrical work complies with BS7671 – 18th Edition, co‑ordinate teams, maintain health and safety standards, and support a culture of rehabilitation and positive change.
* Five years’ experience as an electrician or equivalent
* Experience working on commercial or industrial electrical, building services
* Experience of supervising staff
* Full driving licence preferably with D1
* C&G 2367 or 2357 (Electrical Installation) and NVQ level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent
* Certificate in BS7671 – The Requirements for Electrical Installations, 18th Edition
* Good Health & Safety knowledge
* Excellent organisational, time management and people skills
