PA for Child- LS9- 4 Hrs Per Week x2 positions available (4 hrs pp)
Service user is an 8‑year‑old male who enjoys playing outside mostly at a park. He finds joy in reciting nursery rhymes and ABCs. Service user is very hyper and suffers from severe Autism and ADHD; we need someone patient, understanding and considerate. Sometimes it is very difficult to decipher his needs and wants, so we need someone who can handle that. He is also extremely strong, so we require someone capable of handling that strength. He enjoys climbing and being chased around. The service user is a bright and energetic child with a world of potential awaiting unlocking. To help him thrive, we want to encourage more opportunities for him to socialize with children his age through group activities, games, or creative leisure. These activities can spark his curiosity and foster a love for learning and discovery. He is very creative, loves being surrounded with colors and paint, and we would like him to learn when it is appropriate to ask for certain things at certain times. He also needs to learn to sit in a restaurant or bus without causing a scene. We would like to teach him road safety and a sense of danger, especially when going to the playground where he may run toward busy roads. Preventing him from attempting to get out of his seatbelt while driving is also a priority before the habit escalates.
