Job Description
The Studio
This interior design studio is recognised for a highly considered approach to materiality, craftsmanship, and making, with particular attention given to product design and bespoke joinery. Operating exclusively within hospitality, the practice delivers environments that feel atmospheric, resolved, and carefully judged.
Based in central London, the team works internationally across a range of distinctive hospitality settings. Widely looked to for inspiration, the studio has produced a body of work that is often cited within the hospitality sector for its clarity, craft, and atmosphere. Each project is shaped by a strong narrative, confident proportion, and nuanced material expression, with an emphasis on longevity and restraint rather than fleeting trends. The studio culture is design-led and collaborative, encouraging curiosity, dialogue, and sustained creative engagement.
The Opportunity
As a Middleweight Interior Designer, you will play an active role in the development and delivery of hospitality projects, supporting the team from early concept stages through to detailed design and on-site completion. You will contribute to research, hand sketching, and three-dimensional studies to help shape and refine ideas, alongside producing clear and coordinated drawing information that communicates intent, detailing, and build logic.
The position involves developing bespoke joinery and furniture elements, sourcing and specifying materials and finishes, and preparing FF&E and material schedules with close attention to quality and cost. You will work alongside specialist makers, suppliers, consultants, and contractors to ensure a high level of execution throughout. Working closely with senior designers and project teams, you will support the smooth progression of schemes from initial ideas through to final delivery.
The Candidate
* Experience contributing to viable design concepts across boutique hotels, restaurants, and experiential hospitality environments
* Confidence producing detailed drawing packages from concept through to construction, with a clear understanding of how ideas are realised on site
* Strong experience sourcing and specifying FF&E, with a refined eye for detail, material selection, and budget awareness
* Involvement across all project stages, from early design development through to delivery
* Ability to create compelling visuals that communicate ideas clearly and help bring proposals to life for clients
* Comfortable liaising with clients, suppliers, consultants, and internal teams
* Organised, proactive, and capable of managing multiple workstreams within a busy studio setting
* Positive, collaborative, and keen to contribute energy while continuing to learn and develop
