Capital Change Portfolio Coordinator – Continuous Improvement & Digital Team, PMO, Asset Delivery
Contract: 12‑month secondment / fixed‑term
Location: Buttershaw, Bradford (hybrid, moving to Leeds Valley Park in Summer 2026)
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday
Responsibilities
* Coordinate required actions, meetings, and follow‑ups for CI, Digital and Curriculum and Development activities.
* Update, review, and allocate work through the Capital Programme Continuous Improvement Dashboard.
* Support the team with administrative tasks for improvements to end‑to‑end process, training and development.
* Provide general administrative support for the team.
* Produce and manage communications, dashboards and SharePoint sites.
* Monitor team inboxes and assign actions.
* Lead small projects as required.
* Administer the Continuous Improvement dashboard including the new ideas log, investigate ideas with stakeholders, and feed back to submitters.
* Provide timely reports using Microsoft Apps and Power BI.
* Support project teams to deliver change projects under the Continuous Improvement governance process.
* Collaborate with other PMO teams to manage the Integrated Management System (IMS) and administer the Asset Delivery Way (CDIMS), the Asset Delivery Learning & Delivery Hub site, and our PMO SharePoint site.
* Own the team and wider PMO SharePoint sites, keeping them up to date with relevant communications.
* Coordinate and support documentation of processes and business process diagrams.
* Support the documentation of procedures and guidance.
* Deliver small Continuous Improvement projects.
* Support the team to conduct change impact assessments.
* Support the team to own a calendar of training and events.
* Assist in the production and planning of training material and events.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience of project and programme administration and coordination.
* Experience using Microsoft Apps and Power BI.
* Experience using SharePoint and Visio.
* Experience developing and maintaining internal and external relationships.
* Good organisational skills, proactive, and able to work successfully in a team.
* Report writing and presentation skills.
* Analytical and reporting skills.
* Ability to work with colleagues inside and outside the team to support day‑to‑day delivery of team, department, and directorate objectives.
* Flexible and agile approach to completing tasks, working beyond team boundaries as necessary.
* Strong communication skills, able to communicate with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
* Demonstrate Yorkshire Water company values and behaviours.
Desired Additional Experience
* Previous experience in a commercially oriented and/or regulated environment.
* Previous experience within the water or wastewater sectors, or broader utilities, process or manufacturing industries.
* Experience in Continuous Improvement.
* Experience in Integrated Management Systems.
