Role Responsibilities
This Corporate & Commercial Solicitor job is ideal for someone ready to take on a diverse, high‑quality caseload with the autonomy to manage files independently. The incoming Corporate & Commercial Solicitor will work across a broad range of matters, supporting a variety of clients from SMEs to larger corporations across multiple sectors.
Key responsibilities include:
* Advising on company formations, corporate restructures, M&A transactions and shareholder agreements.
* Drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts including terms and conditions, service agreements, NDAs and more.
* Supporting corporate transactions from initial instruction to post‑completion.
* Assisting clients with commercial legal risk and compliance matters.
* Leading or assisting in due diligence and disclosure processes.
* Working collaboratively with other departments within the firm to deliver a seamless service.
* Taking an active role in business development, including attending networking events, contributing to marketing campaigns, and developing client relationships.
Person Specification
Applications are sought from experienced Solicitors with at least 2 years’ PQE (not NQ) in Corporate or Commercial Law. This Corporate & Commercial Solicitor job will suit someone who enjoys client interaction, has commercial awareness and thrives in a fast‑paced environment.
* Between 2–5 years PQE in either corporate, commercial or a mix of both.
* Confidence working autonomously with minimal supervision.

* Enthusiasm for marketing, business development and building long‑term client relationships.
