I’m currently working with a prestigious client based in Immingham to recruit for a role within their Business and Operations team. This is a temporary position for an initial 3–6 months period with the potential for it to be extended, offering a pay rate of £12.93 per hour.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for delivering a high standard of customer service by understanding customer needs and ensuring clear, accurate, and timely communication. You’ll act as a key point of coordination between customers, warehouse teams, and transport providers—helping to ensure deliveries are efficiently planned, tracked, and completed. Maintaining accurate systems and documentation will also be an important part of the role.
Main duties:
Managing daily customer communications, ensuring all queries, updates, and call-offs are acknowledged and actioned promptly.
Maintaining and update stock and transport management systems, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date.
Preparing and process delivery and returns documentation in line with customer requirements.
Monitoring delivery progress, liaising with planners and warehouses to track ETA’s and proactively update customers.
Capturing and recording data to support KPI reporting, invoicing, and operational performance tracking.
You will need:
Customer service experience is essential
Logistics or warehouse experience is highly desirable
Confident communication skills
Have good attention to detail
