Salary: £75k to £85k pa depending on experience plus benefits.
Our client is looking for a Head of IT to lead the support of existing and development of new systems and technologies required to support Business development and growth.
Responsibilities
* Management of the Development, Infrastructure and Implementation Team.
* Budget Planning and Revenue Management.
* Lead and manage the client’s capability to ensure robust system stability and development of a fit-for-purpose support strategy.
* Monitor and report on performance and progress against the IT strategy and operational performance, producing monthly performance reports to various boards.
* Plan, organise, and manage operations and employees to ensure the stable operation and resilience of the organisation’s IT infrastructure.
* Ensure delivery of the design, installation, upgrading, operation, control, maintenance and effective use of the network, server, telephony and desktop infrastructures.
* Lead the team to ensure excellent customer service is provided to all internal and external customers.
* Lead the budget setting process for IT and ensure that financial implications are considered for all initiatives.
* Provide expertise in the areas of development methodology and service delivery.
* Ensure compliance with company and other relevant standards/regulations at all times.
Qualifications
* Excellent team management and leadership skills with experience of managing a department of at least circa 30 staff.
* Significant vendor and supplier management experience.
* Excellent analytical, numerate skills and an attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to plan and prioritise and work to tight timelines.
* Effective decision making capability.
* Software Development background is extremely advantageous.
