*Job Summary*We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber/Gas Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and installing gas and plumbing systems across a variety of commercial and domestic properties. This role requires technical expertise, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work safely in potentially challenging environments.*Responsibilities** Install, service, and repair gas and plumbing systems in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations* Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and perform necessary maintenance* Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry skills to carry out installation and repair tasks* Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used* Adhere strictly to health and safety protocols at all times during site visits and work activities* Independent completion of jobs as provided by schedulers on a daily basis* Travel to repair sites as and when required* Real time reporting using PDA to update status of jobs and inform of any further works required*Experience** Proven experience working as a Gas Engineer on both commercial & domestic properties or in a similar role within the construction or maintenance industry* Competent in using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment relevant to gas systems installation and repair* Valid driving licence suitable for operating commercial vehicles is highly desirable* Knowledge of safety standards related to gas work and general construction practices*Personal Attributes** Full UK Driving Licence* DBS Clearance will be required* Gas Safe registered* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent* At least 2 years experience working independently*What we offer** Working hours 08:00-16:30, Monday to Friday* 21 days holiday plus bank holidays* Company van & fuel card provided* Mobile provided* Family-owned business that pride ourselves on our friendly approach and high-quality service* The chance to join a highly regarded company with a great reputationSteele Davis ltd. are proud to be an equal opportunities employer, and welcome applications from all suitably qualified candidates regardless of age, gender, religious belief, sexual orientation, marital status, disability, pregnancy/maternity, race or gender reassignment.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: £16.62-£17.42 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:* Company pension* Life insuranceWork Location: In person
