As a Functional Assessor with Ingeus you can expect:
~ Predictable hours, Monday-Friday 9-5pm
~ Hybrid working (3 days at your local assessment centre or more if you prefer)
~ 25 days annual leave (+BH) with the option to buy more
~ Structured training programme to achieve formal DWP accreditation
~ Carry out functional assessments with claimants face to face, via video & telephone to assess their ability to undertake activities of daily living.
Produce high quality, structured clinical reports on all claimants you assess, for submission to the DWP.
Work alongside other highly experienced clinical colleagues to ensure high-quality & fair assessments for all claimants.
NMC-registered Adult Nurses (RGN, RMN, RNLD) or HCPC-registered Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Paramedics.
With excellent communication & critical-thinking skills, the ability to type and confidence using computers.
Many clinicians find the role of a Functional Assessor rewarding, but its also challenging at the same time and its not the right fit for everyone.
Is open to a formalised programme of training to become a DWP approved Functional Assessor.
Has confidence in their ability to use computers and in learning different software packages to complete detailed, high-quality reports for all claimants assessed.
You dislike writing detailed reports.
You prefer a more hands on approach to clinical care.
