Are you ready to dive into a role that combines fun, safety, and exceptional customer service? At Butlin’s, our lifeguards play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have a fantastic time while staying safe in our Splash Waterworld!
About the Role
Your primary responsibility will be to keep our guests safe while they enjoy the pool and flumes. This role requires:
* Superb Attention to Detail: Safety is our top priority, and you’ll need to monitor the pool closely, especially during busy times.
* Exceptional Customer Service: Engage with guests and create memorable experiences through fun poolside activities.
* Flexible Working Hours: Work a minimum of 24 hours up to full-time (35 hours), with shifts primarily between 8:30 AM and 6 PM, and occasional shifts until 9 PM.
For those aged over 18 and relocating for a full-time position, live-in accommodation may be available!
About You
We’re looking for enthusiastic individuals who can connect with a diverse range of people. Here’s what you need:
* Strong Swimming Skills: You must be a confident swimmer.
* National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ): This is essential for the role.
* Team Player: While you’ll work alongside a fantastic team, there will be times when you’ll supervise areas independently.
* Flexibility and Reliability: Our business operates 7 days a week, so punctuality and adaptability are key!
