£28,385 - £44,409 Per annum
Individuals with diverse backgrounds and professional experience, including those looking to transition into teaching.
* Deliver high-quality lectures and seminars in Business & Law subjects (Levels 2 and Level 3)
* Develop course materials and assessments
* Provide academic support and guidance to students
* Conduct research in relevant areas
* Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development
* A teaching qualification at Level 5 or a willingness to work towards one
* A relevant qualification in Business or substantial industry experience
* Proven experience delivering high-quality teaching and learning in a post-16 environment
* A track record of supporting students to achieve excellent academic outcomes
* Experience as a personal tutor or in providing tutorial support (desirable)
* Familiarity with a range of assessment methods tailored to varied learning needs
* Strong knowledge of Business & Law principles and practises
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Ability to engage students in the learning process
* Research skills in relevant areas
This role involves working on a contract basis in an academic environment, delivering lectures and seminars, conducting research, and participating in departmental activities.
