Event Logistics Executive (Maternity Cover)
Location: Redditch, UK (with occasional travel to event sites)
Contract: Full-time, Fixed Term (approx. 18 months) - starting May 2026
Hybrid: 3 days office / 2 days WFH
Salary: £30,000 per annum plus bonus

The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Event Logistics Executive to join our team on a fixed-term maternity cover contract. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced events environment, ideal for someone who is highly organised, confident managing multiple workstreams, and comfortable taking ownership of event delivery. You’ll be responsible for managing the logistical planning and execution of events from initial concept through to on-site delivery. Working closely with clients, venues, suppliers and internal teams, you’ll play a key role in ensuring events run smoothly, safely and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
Event Logistics & Event Delivery
* Plan and manage end-to-end event logistics for assigned events
* Liaise with venues on space planning, layouts, permissions and technical requirements
* Coordinate external suppliers, contractors and production partners
* Develop and manage detailed logistics schedules covering build, event delivery and breakdown
* Prepare event documentation including job sheets, floor plans and briefing notes
On-Site & Stakeholder Management
* Act as a key point of contact for suppliers and stakeholders before and during events
* Coordinate internal teams and external staff to ensure smooth event execution
* Occasionally supervise on-site logistics and resolve issues quickly and professionally
Compliance & Administration
* Ensure events comply with health & safety and regulatory requirements, including risk assessments, permits and insurance
* Support post-event wrap-up, including event reports and health & safety documentation
About You
You’ll be confident, organised and calm under pressure, with proven experience delivering live events.
Essential:
* Minimum of two years’ experience in event management, with a strong focus on logistics and live delivery
* Experience managing events of varying size and complexity
* Highly organised with strong time management and attention to detail
* Confident and professional in a client-facing role
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365
Desirable:
* Relevant college or post-secondary qualification
* Experience working with venues, AV suppliers and production teams
Additional Information
* Full-time role, 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
* Flexibility to occasionally work evenings or weekends for live events is required
