About Community Integrated Care
Community Integrated Care is one of the UK’s largest health and social care charities. We work hard to enrich the lives of people with many different care needs. It’s exciting and rewarding work, and we’re full of pride and passion for what we do. Since the early days, we’ve grown to provide many innovative and bespoke care services to thousands of people across England and Scotland. We want to provide support based on the principles of choice, dignity and respect, resonating in our vision of ‘Your Life, Your Choice’ and our strategy ‘Best Lives Possible’. We have strong values and we’re proud to pioneer new ways of delivering social care to stand out in our sector. In the past two years, we have won or made the shortlist for over 100 national and regional awards. We are also focused on our people. Our Support Workers are dedicated and passionate about going ‘the extra mile’ for the people we support and in return, we go the extra mile for them by investing in pay, recognition, wellbeing and continued professional and personal development. We will provide you with all the training, support and personal protective equipment you need in your role and will help you develop, should you decide you want to develop your career with us.
Role
Are you an experienced Care Assistant or Support Worker? If this sounds like you, we are now recruiting for a flexible Bank/Casual Support Worker to expand our team in Dollar. At our Dollar service in Clackmannanshire, we support four fun and outgoing individuals to live in their own flats in a shared building. The people we support have faced a lot of challenges in the past because of their learning disabilities, mental health and previous trauma and are looking for friendly, caring and supportive people to help them build confidence and improve their independent living skills so they get the most from life. The people we support enjoy a wide range of different activities, like socialising, going to the movies, shopping, making TikToks, watching and playing football, cinema, walking, playing games and having barbecues in their shared garden. They’re looking for positive and patient people who can support them to try new activities and help them achieve their goals, which include going to college and finding a job.
