About The Role
Personal Assistant for Jack in Auchinleck, East Ayrshire – Full time contract available; 35 hours per week. Shift pattern: 7am – 9pm.
Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive personal care and support to Jack, ensuring safety, wellbeing, and independence.
* Assist with mobility, movement and handling, and positive behavioural support.
* Coordinate daily routines, including walks, shopping trips, and leisure activities.
* Help build and expand Jim’s social networks and connections.
* Work collaboratively with the Enable team to ensure individual goals and outcomes are met.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Strong commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.
* Empathy, compassion and a desire to support someone with learning disabilities.
* Excellent communication skills and a flexible, supportive attitude.
* No prior care experience required – we recruit based on values and transferable skills.
* Willingness to register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) within 3 months of start date.
