Signode UK Ltd belongs to the Signode Industrial Group, a large international company involved in the manufacture and sale of packaging systems. The unit serves customers in the UK & Ireland.
Purpose of the Position
You are the first point of Customer Services contact. The role will be primarily focused on providing customer service administration support. The role will be based from our Aldridge office and will support both the UK/Ireland.
Content of the Position:
1. Manage a workload of cases from D365 case management software.
2. Raise customer quotations using customer-specific or generic price lists for consumables, parts, and service visits.
3. Check the commercial accuracy of all orders and process order entry in Navision efficiently for all customers.
4. For machine projects – raise orders and process invoices for staged payment deliveries.
5. Send order confirmations to customers for each order entered.
6. Follow management instructions regarding price evolutions and inform customers accordingly.
7. Manage customer expectations regarding lead times and proactively chase backorder items.
8. Handle customer queries (late deliveries, faulty goods, stock discrepancies, etc.).
9. Obtain proof of deliveries when requested.
10. Check product lead times with the supply chain.
11. Follow the MR (material return) process for defective or wrong deliveries.
12. Raise credit notes for material returns or price discrepancies.
13. Provide customers with datasheets and other requested documents.
14. Support external sales with customer reports.
15. Handle invoice queries and chase overdue payments.
16. Set up new accounts and send credit application forms to customers.
17. Provide order and invoice details to finance for portal customers.
18. Raise and process rental contract agreements.
19. Manage rental swaps and drops.
