Full Time and Casual Support Workers Required

The person you will support is looking for an individual who is reliable and motivated. The ideal candidate would be bubbly and outgoing character with a can do attitude, to provide support for the individual and promote the clients daily living alongside another member of the team providing 2:1 cover on day shifts and 2:1 cover on waking nights/sleep in shifts when required.
The person you will be supporting lives in an fully adapted property within the family home, with the family being at centre for support and guidance.
The client has complex care needs, physical disabilities and requires comprehensive support due to an accident.
The client is looking for someone to support them being involved in day to day activities and therapies. Assisting with personal care and moving and handling.
The client enjoys music and being read to. The ideal candidate will have a good sense of humour & enjoy going out on activities. The client needs a team of 2:1 to assist with trying various activities to suit their needs, whilst ensuring their dignity, safety and wellbeing is maintained.
Previous experience working within care is desirable, but full training and support will be given to the right individuals ready to flourish in this role.
You will be required to write detailed notes daily.
Ideally candidates will have a full driving licence and be able to drive the clients vehicle.
It is desirable for applicants to have experience with complex care needs, PEG, catheter, medication
Hours of work
48 per week on a rota basis to cover days, night and weekends
Hours are usually
Day shifts 0800 - 2000
Waking Nights - 2000 - 0800
Sleep in - 2200 - 0800

Rates of Pay
Weekday £14.00 per hour
Weekend £14.00 per hour
Night Rate (weekday) £14.00 per hour
Night Rate (weekend) £14.00 per hour
Bank Holiday Rate £21.00 per hour
Sleep in rate £9.88 per hour
Due to the nature of the role an enhanced check with the Disclosure and Barring Service will be required.
