Do you want to make a difference to a child’s life?
Hours: 4 days and sleep nights on, 6 days off (365 rota)
Pay rate: £41,751 to £46,197 per annum, including opportunities to pick up overtime at an enhanced rate.
What we are looking for:
Peak View is a two-bed, Ofsted registered children's home providing immediate intervention and trauma-informed therapeutic support. Over a 12 week placement, our young people are given security, support, and stabilisation in a nurturing and peaceful environment. Every placement provides PACE principle residential care, access to education and participation in outdoor/adventure activities.
If you are an experienced, qualified children's residential care worker who is eager to expand their skills and knowledge, we would love to hear from you!
Minimum Requirements:
1. A minimum of 12 months experience in a children's residential care home
2. A level 3 (or above) diploma in residential childcare (or be close to completion)
3. A full driving licence issued in the UK
4. A keen interest in outdoor and adventure activities
5. Applicants must have full right to work in the UK with no restrictions
6. In-depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations, expectations, and best practices
7. Training and experience in de-escalation, safe restraint, and physical intervention (such as Team Teach, MAPA etc.)
8. Values in line with Esland's, such as taking a therapeutic, person-centred approach to childcare
9. Due to industry regulations, applicants must be aged 21 or above
