Hafren Fasteners is growing. As one of the UK's leading suppliers of specialist security fasteners, we are seeking an Operations Manager to oversee three core business functions: Warehouse, Purchasing and Quality.
This is a hands-on leadership role with genuine responsibility and the opportunity to shape operational performance as the business continues to scale.
You will take ownership of day-to-day operations while driving structure, accountability and measurable improvement across departments.
The Role
Leadership & Accountability
* Lead and develop the Warehouse, Purchasing and Quality teams
* Set clear KPIs and performance standards
* Drive accountability and cross-functional clarity
* Report operational performance to Directors
* Run structured meetings and ensure follow-through on actions
Warehouse
* Oversee stock accuracy, picking/packing standards and workflow efficiency
* Improve inventory control and reduce operational errors
* Maintain a safe, organised and compliant working environment
Purchasing
* Strengthen supplier management and purchasing accuracy
* Improve forecasting and stock planning processes
* Drive cost control and procurement efficiency
Quality
* Maintain and improve product and process standards
* Lead investigations and corrective actions
* Ensure checks, audits and compliance processes are consistently followed
Continuous Improvement
* Identify and implement better ways of working
* Track KPIs and reduce inefficiencies
* Build scalable processes that support future growth
About You
You will bring:
* Proven operational leadership experience
* Experience across Warehouse, Purchasing and/or Quality management
* Strong people management skills with confidence and clarity
* A structured, improvement-driven mindset
* Commercial awareness and sound decision-making ability
* A hands-on approach when required
Experience managing all three functions simultaneously would be advantageous.
Salary
£35,000 – £50,000 depending on experience and scope of responsibility.
