Construction Director – Industrial Projects

Salary: Up to £150k + Package
A leading main contractor with a strong presence across the Midlands is looking to appoint an experienced Construction Director to lead the delivery of large-scale industrial schemes.

The Role
As Construction Director, you will take full ownership of major industrial projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring successful delivery across programme, quality, safety, and commercial performance.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading the delivery of large-scale industrial/logistics schemes (£20m+)
* Full lifecycle management from tender through to handover
* Managing and coordinating site, commercial, and design teams
* Driving programme and ensuring key milestones are achieved
* Overseeing project financial performance, including budgets and margins
* Identifying and implementing value engineering opportunities
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships
* Ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety and statutory requirements
About You
* Proven experience at Project Director or Construction Director level within a main contractor
* Strong background delivering industrial/logistics projects
* Track record delivering schemes typically £20m–£100m+
* Excellent leadership and team management capabilities
* Strong commercial awareness and financial control experience
* Experience working in Design & Build environments
* Confident client-facing with the ability to develop long-term relationships
* Relevant construction qualifications (degree or equivalent)
* SMSTS, CSCS, and ideally NEBOSH
