Early Years Teaching Assistant - Mansfield

Contract: Flexible working pattern, temporary ongoing
Pay: £88.94 - £95 per day (paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees)
Start Date: ASAP or from a start date that suits you
About the Role
As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the class teacher in delivering fun, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning experiences for pupils within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). You will help create a nurturing and inclusive environment that supports every child's growth and curiosity.
This role is perfect for individuals who are patient, caring, and eager to make a positive difference in the early stages of education.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the class teacher in delivering EYFS-based activities.
* Provide individual and group support to children to aid learning and development.
* Encourage social, emotional, and physical growth through play-based learning.
* Assist with classroom setup, tidying, and resource preparation.
* Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for all pupils.
* Promote inclusion, wellbeing, and safety within the classroom.
Candidate Requirements
* Experience working with young children (within a school or nursery setting).
* Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching & Learning or Early Years (desirable).
* A nurturing, patient, and enthusiastic attitude.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply).
