Overview
We are looking for a part time Sales Consultant to join the team at our elegant Miele Experience Centre in the Grand Arcade in Cambridge. The role works across two days, 15 hours per week, including weekend and bank holidays. Miele Experience Centres are different to normal retail stores, with lower footfall but higher value customer transactions. We strive to provide a premium experience for every consumer, whether they are kitting out an entire new kitchen, or dropping in to buy some replacement detergents for their washing machine.
Responsibilities
* Reporting to the Store Manager, you will be a natural sales person and both confident and capable when hosting clients, providing detailed quotes to fit their needs and delivering memorable in-store demonstrations.
* You will bring an ability to form relationships with clients and manage a longer sales process that could incorporate multiple visits and discussions.
* Ideally we are looking for sales consultants who have previous experience in lifestyle sales or delivering bespoke solutions in a store environment.
* Working as a team you will strive to hit sales targets for both yourself and the team.
* Our customers are loyal and inquisitive; you will be required to demonstrate multiple communication styles across telephone, face to face and written.
* You'll be confident and professional with the ability to respond effectively to quotations and queries.
* You will bring previous experience of working in a customer facing role and can demonstrate credibility and confidence in what is required.
* Most importantly you will bring the passion and pride that matches the brand with the ability to effectively multi-task.
* IT literate with the ability to adapt to systems and processes and work really well as a team to achieve great results.

* Delivering memorable demonstrations, bespoke consultations and exceptional customer service, our Experience Centre forge the link between Kitchen Dealers, consumers, and Miele, by giving opportunities to close the sale either directly or through our partner network.
What we offer
* Part time (including weekends and bank holidays) – £13.16 per hour, rising to £13.42 at probation; 15-hour working week.

* Previous experience in lifestyle sales or delivering bespoke solutions in a store environment.
* Experience in customer-facing roles with credibility and confidence in what is required.
* IT literacy and the ability to adapt to systems and processes; a strong team player who can help achieve great results.
