The role is front line customer focused, dealing directly with both incoming and outgoing telephone queries in a prompt and professional manner. The objective is to efficiently and proactively collect outstanding monies owed to the Council. The role is varied and involves dealing with colleagues internally and externally alike, and will allow you to utilise your communication and negotiation skills to their full potential. About you You will be required to work as part of a team and together you will coordinate and prioritise the workload to ensure that all tasks are completed on time. You will deliver a professional service to our customers and will adhere to the Council s policies and procedures. You will take ownership of certain tasks and will work to deliver on targets set whilst maintaining a high quality of work. You will be also be required to take responsibility for decisions you make and know when to seek guidance.
